Legacy of Love and Healing
Robert’s Press was created in memory of Robert J Van Moorsel the brother of our founder Christine Dernederlanden. In 1986 when Christine was 14 years of age her bother Robert fell to his death over the Niagara Falls Gorge. He was only 19 years of age. Robert made the fatal mistake of hopping the rail to the Gorge to relieve himself. Six month after his death Christine had a cancer scare in her legs that led her to explore not only her grief, but her own mortality. Christine's mission since this date is to ensure that no child will grieve alone.
Reviews
"I have had an opportunity to see Christine speak on two separate occasions regarding issues pertaining to grief, bereavement and trauma and have found her presentation formats to be organized, engaging and practical. Christine exudes a confidence in her speaking, demonstrating avast amount of energy, enthusiasm and eagerness in helping others recognize their potential within this area."

“I read your book and I really, really liked it Christine! It's deceivingly simple - yet paradoxically profound! I read it a few times and each time went deeper and deeper into your life ‘wisdom'. You have a gift! Your emotion philosophy is very similar to mine which is both co-incidental and wonderful that we can speak the same language. The mystical in your life is also a cross-over to mine and I especially love the story about when you found the apple in the Chapel.”
